Excellent post, Joe! Heck of an adventure! And this reminds me, everyone: I forgot one critter from the hunt. SANDcritter! He sojourned out to Kalispell when I emerged from the bush, & treated me to an excellent elk burger @ Scotty's, and a few Kokanee beers. MT seems to be agreeing quite well with him, and it was wonderful to catch up with him. I don't believe I'd seen him since the '15 or '16 TX hog hunt. FC

I just discovered that billy makes for more than passable goat burgers: ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/5u5LzBe.jpg) A little Tony's seasoning, roasted green chiles, and cheddar so sharp I damned near cut myself. Really tasty, so long as I don't go and try to figure out how much per pound they cost.  FC
