Shortactionsmoker/Left Handed Tikka T3X 7-08. How about a special run of these in stainless/syn. I am sure you can get enough guys to get this done. What say you? Guys, make some noise.

If we're making requests getting Beretta to import some left hand 9.3x62 Tikkas would be high on my buy list.

While we are on the T3X "wish list"... A Left Hand Stainless Fluted 6.5x55 would be nice. Prefer a wood stock, but not picky. Willing to pay in advance and wait 12 to 24 months until it gets here...

I'd take at least one 7mm-08 if not two. Currently shooting a RH Tikka T3x 7mm-08. Want a LH!

Yes why not the 6.5 Creed in a Tikka? For several years that is what we have asking for, Ruger finally made a LH in the RAR Predator, waiting on a Barret Fieldcraft LH 6.5 Cr Moor!

A Finnish rifle in 6.5 should be a 6.5x55 SE anything else is unnatural. All Tikka's are long action may as well use it.

maybe one optimum solution would be to create a mixed bag of LH blue and SS rifles. probably too expensive to consider, but a variety of options, and let the buyers pick & choose.
i'd like to have a 6.5 creed, 7mm-08, or even a .308 or lastly a .223. they'd all work. choice is a wonderful thing.

You would think Beretta would understand there's at least some interest in the Tikka's that they don't import, and just bring in a couple shipments to an online retailer in the US. They could even charge another $100 premium and they would all still sell.

I do not care for the European style humpback stock, but that could always be changed as a small cost of getting a modest-priced real mauser forged steel action that you could shoot right away. Norm

I'll ask for a response again this week. I put several rifles on the list that don't import, both left and right handed. I offered a commitment minimum of 500 rifles. I'd think that should get it done...

I am in need of a lightweight left hand 7mm-08 or 6.5 Creed for my daughter-in-law and I believe the Tikka lite or superlite stainless would be perfect. The rifle needs to be 6 lb or less.
I will follow this thread for future development.

Do you need a repeater? If not, the T/C Encore is extremely lightweight.

Do you need a repeater? If not, the T/C Encore is extremely lightweight. I had thought of the Encore but I think she will want a repeater. She shot her first deer this year with my son's rifle, a right handed Ruger 270 tanger, and he said that the weight was an issue with her holding the rifle up. She liked the experience so much that it appears we will have a new hunter in the family. Teaching her to use a rest is a good option also and may just be the best solution. Thanks for the suggestion.

She should be shooting from sticks. Go get the new generation Primos trigger sticks (tripod). It will take the work out of shooting offhand. they are easily adjustable for height.

The choice of dealing with more recoil or shooting from a rest is an annoying one. The more cumbersome option is the wise one, but who wants to deal with that?!
I'm going to get either a Ruger Predator or Tikka CTR in a 6.5mm in 2018. I would much prefer the Tikka in .260 or 6.5x55.

If Whittaker's continues their pricing on T3x rifles into 2018 then it would sell considerably cheaper than that. They are more than $200 under that price on current T3x stainless lite models.

Darrik send me a "PM" saying they would not be getting the T3X "Light" in 6.5 in left hand as the lite model was an exclusive with Sportsman Wharehouse. I am not sure that makes sense as other dealers have the lefty lite 6.5 Creed listed on Gunbroker. HMMM!! I would prefer the T3X lite model myself.

Been checking prices on a new SS 6.5 Creed Moor barrel on my LH Rem 700 in 308 Win about $650, about what I can sell it for. I am going to wait for the Tikka.

It is my understanding that the "Superlight" is a Sportsman Warehouse exclusive, but I could be wrong. I hope your right. Hopefully, Darrik will catch this thread with the correct answer if Whittakers will be shipped the T3X "Lite" model.

We will be getting left hand T3X Lites in 6.5 Creedmoor. They’re due by April 18th....maybe sooner.
I met with them at SHOT about importing models that were currently made for the European market. The verdict is still out.
Superlite’s (black stock, stainless) are a Sportsman’s Warehouse exclusive. Cabelas receives a camo/stainless superlite as their exclusive.
I’m going to be totally honest here — if you look at our pricing on the stainless T3X Lites and compare it to the the stainless Superlite’s, you’ll see a big difference in the pricing. I have no desire to play in that arena and jockey for position for the exclusive. That’s a bunch of money for a few flutes!
I’ll go back through this thread today and address other questions.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Darrik,
Please post when you have the "pre-order" up for the Tikka on Whittakers website.
