Not the fastest but 41 42 and 43 grains gave me less than 1/2 inch groups. Velocity topped out at 2820. Anyone else used it?

My 7mm-08 seems anemic, if I push it the groups open up to about 2-2.5 MOA. I've used Big Game, H414, Varget, IMR 4064, H4350 and still have yet to get over 2700 fps with good accuracy. Currently running 38.5 Varget with 140 TTSX and they touch, but I'm guessing velocity is 2650 ish out of a 22" barrel. It kills everything fine but wanted to hit 2800 range for further shots? I'll take accuracy every time though over velocity!

I don't own a 7mm-08 but I load IMR 4064 in .257 Roberts, .30-06 and .35 Whelen, accuracy is my primary goal and this powder is giving great accuracy (5 shot groups at 100 that are one ragged hole) in the Whelen with 225gr. bullets.

Wouldn't expect any less...than one ragged hole..

with 4064, or IMR 4895 or 3031...

I've only had one 7-08, but I experienced the same thing you did. The accuracy just wasn't there in the fast loads. It was good enough for deer hunting, but it never suited me. I can push 243's, 270's, 6.5CM's to the limit, and still have accuracy. But it just wouldn't happen with the 7-08. Of course, I'm basing that on the one rifle I loaded for. Something else might have been different.

I have had fantastic results accuracy wise from 4064 RL15 and Varget from my 7-08 with 120 NBT's. The Varget is about 120 fps faster with only slightly less accuracy. The rl15 around 44 grains is a one holer for as long as you can hold it steady. Velocity runs about 2810. 4064 is the same deal from 41-43 grains. velocity maxes ut at about 2820. The varget doesnt one hole but is consistently in the .6 to .8 range and velocity averages abut 2930. The Varget and RL 15 loads worked for 2 diff 7-08's... Didnt try the 4064 on the other as it had a 22 inch barrel and was right at 3000fps an grouped it a hair tighter.

I switched to Big Game in the last batch that I loaded for my daughter's rifle and it grouped better than any of the previous powders we had used.

50 grains of Big Game worked great in mine.
