I am having real problems logging in and staying logged in. I have always elected to use the remain logged in function, but the last few weeks it hasn't worked. I try to log in and it won't take for the first 2-3 tries. When it does take, I find I am logged back out the first time I try to visit a thread. Sometimes it will 'take' and I will stay logged in for a full session.
Strangely, the one method that seems to consistently work is to click on a member's name as though I want to visit his member information. A different log in box will pop up over to the left side of the screen and, when I log in there, I stay logged in until I leave the site.
Any ideas about what is causing this?

It sounds like cookies. Clean out cookies, close browser, re-open browser, login again. If that doesn't work, run CCleaner, then login again. It's cookies.
