I am toying with the idea for replacing my factory T3 with one with a comb to allow better alignment with the scope. I'm using god-a-grip on it now but I would like something a little bit higher. Shooting left handed now as have lost the vision in my right eye. Rifle is a 7 mag. Any recommendations without breaking the bank would be appreciated. At 80 I can't justify a great expenditure on one.

Boyd's makes both their Heritage and Prairie Hunter models for the LH Tikka T3, they are Monte carlo styles and are pretty reasonable. They advertise a 100% drop in fit.

Basic stock in laminate is around $145 or you can add some extra cost features. They have all kinds of laminate colors from mild to wild and various grades of walnut. I have a Prairie Hunter on a Montana 1999 and it has good ergonomics - fairly open pistol grip but a good size, not too thick. The main difference is the Prairie Hunter has this funny kind of beveled forend while the Heritage has a normal oval cross section. You can compare those styles here: https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/gallery#shapes
