I decided to put Goodyear Dura Trac's on. I had them studded too so will have to remove them 1 June. I kept the TransForce HT's and will put them back on then and probably look for some of the other suggestions when they are worn out.

I run Hankooks, but I run that tire in the other 3 seasons...

Still prefer a winter tire, I do there Winter Pike RF 11s...

they are hydrophilic rubber compound.. and can be gotten studded...

have to deal with alot of rain here in SW Oregon... but then head, east or south
and one has to deal with snow, ice etc...at altitude...

my sets on them are starting their 4th season this year...

next season will probably need to replace... but they've been great,
so will just renew with the same tire..

get mine thru Discount Tire Direct on line/ business accounts...pretty cheap to the door step..
get them mounted and balanced at Walmart or over at the college automotive program..
doing that myself, they just let me borrow the use of their equipment...since I know the
instructors...

I wish we had a Discount Tire here. They won't even ship here.

Discount Tire direct will ship to anywhere UPS goes in the lower 48... don't know about
Alaska or Hawaii... but certainly wouldn't hurt to call and ask.. 800-589-6789..

I may have to try again in the future.

I run Toyo m-55s on my duramax. Last set I got over 60k out of with a lot of heavy hauling. Just put a new set on.

How did you like them on snow and packed snow and ice?
