Can't find any Goex locally & shop about an hour from my home has the Hodgdon.
I haven't used my BP rifles since flood destroyed my house in 2011.
Any comments/suggestions will be appreciated?

Wow! I didnt think Hodgdon offered real black anymore. I remember way back in early 70's I thought they marketed Curtis & Harvey on their label.
Would like to hear more. C & H is what we shot while Goex was trying to come up on line after the DuPont thing. I always felt ot was a good consistant powder.

crowmagnum, Get together with some BP friends and order BP in your favorite flavor from Powder, Inc out of Arkansas. Their prices per pound include shipping and HazMat and they are really good folks to deal with. UPS will deliver it right to your door!

Damn Ed! I need to get out more. Went and checked my powder supply. Still have. A pound of Dupont 3FG, 4FG, and about 4 shots of 2FG. I dunno why i havent shot that powder up. Along will all manner of assorted Goex. I had no idea!!! Thanks for clearing that up.
Edit. Geez, im still shooting ticking i got for a couple of my rifles from JC Penny in 1978! I bout a bunch of it!!! Do they still have JC Penney's stores??
