My main hang up on buying one of these 204s is buying one will upset plans for other rifles such as a 5.56x57/224 TTH. That round first grabbed my attention in the Hornady manual and was put on the burner after I read MD's article on it and the 223 WSSM. That project has been pushed back to cobble together a pair of Savages in 250 Savage and 358 Win and I really want to get started on it. Someday.
The 204 was an interesting read but local (lack of) availability kept the yearning down. With two of them near and at decent prices I am being drawn away from my project once again and am trying to find a reason to put off my project once again.

Since I have both 204 & 223’s, I’m in a quandary. Do I have to get rid of he 204 or the 223’s. Oh woe is me!
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally
