Had really our best deer season since 2012. Hope names all of our trail cam deer and here is one we've seen for the past 3 seasons on our farm who she calls "Weird Al" - he's had the same split left main beam every year. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/H3NpKOj.jpg) Got him yesterday at last legal light. Really like him - he's at least 4 1/2 years. . ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/K8JYZ5s.jpg) Took him with a 243 Win at about 100 yds, 100 gr Nosler Partition going a little over 3000 fps. Pretty much broadside, shredded the top half of his heart with about a quarter sized exit. Impressed - first blood with a 243 for me. He's a big boy, had to drag him onto our brush hog, raise it up as high as it would go and them lift him into the back of the truck. Here's one she calls "Red" - Hope took him opening morning on our home place. She was done at 0715. Pretty nice 10 pointer she was happy. She shot him with a 7-08 shooting 120 gr NBT at about 3130 fps.
