...handle in fact ... can anyone help with pointing me in the right direction. Need a LH stainless bolt handle and round (mauser style) knob to finish off my retro Rem 700 in 6.5x55. Hollands makes the perfect product in their "tactical 700 bolt handle" ... I have mailed them to find out if they have the model in left hand. They do stainless in RH so i'm hoping ...Anyone know a supplier out there?

here `s what I did for my left handed son-in-law ,I gave him a new Ruger no.1 in a 7 rem.mag. he loves the gun and the Ruger no. 1 accuracy too. one shot -one kill simple and safety is a thumb safety ,gun loads from the center back ,easy to unload and load.now we all hunt with either a Ruger no.1 or Browning BLR both types work great left of right handed.

Thanks Hotrod, that is what I currently have on my ss lefty, I’m looking at a round Mauser style knob... it will have to be welded onto the factory bolt handle and it seems I will have to have it custom made.

Could try welding one of these on, should have a tig machine to do it. I'd recommend leaving the handle on the bolt as they are silver soldered on and if you dont get them back on in the correct spot your in for trouble, if the silver soulder joint is done poorly you can rip the bolt handle right off, just a heads up.

yip...me thinks... and the guy I went to wants a shank coming from the ball to a hole drilled in the end of the handle...he does not want a ball moving around on the flat part ... Larry Potterfield has an excellent video "near perfect bolt handle" ... this seems the way to go if I cant find a after market handle... i have been holding out hoping to get a complete "plug an play" but the welding seems to be my only option ... strange how there is nothing out there even in the US for such a popular action? So if a shank is needed, I can only have a ball an shank turned on a bench ... it aint gonna be a cheap job

Call Chad Dixon at LRI Long Rifles Inc If it can be done, he can do it. Check out his bolt knob selection and process. Hope this helps
