AR's are my least favorite rifles to shoot but I am thinking about picking up a 300BO upper for my CMMG bargain bin and a Colt 6920 while the prices are down. I want the option of an optic. https://www.colt.com/Catalog/Rifles/LE6920-Series

I'm not going to load for this rifle at all. I have 2000 m193 that was given to me, and I may pick up some of the various 62 gr loads available in bulk.

http://bisonarmory.com/national-match-service-rifle-lower-receiver/http://bisonarmory.com/national-match-service-rifle-upper/This is where I would look. I had a fulcrum Barrel that shot right at MOA from them. Called Ben and had a discussion about it not being a tac driver like I hoped he sent a package label and ask me to send it back. He found it to hold .9” for three shots. He them proceeded toput a new barrel on it that shoots in the .3”. So they stand behind their [bleep]!! You want a really nice tac driver call them up.

Armalite has some deals on their entry level gun. Over all, currently they are the best deal out there.

Here is the standard. Everyone else is trying to copy this. Everything is a variation of this rifle. If you want a 16 inch barrel vs. the 20" that's possible but this is the standard if you want a removable handle 20" rifle. kwg https://www.colt.com/Catalog/Rifles/AR15A4

That's the one I got. To me it kinda has a classic appeal. Someday I would like to get an A1 too.

PSA has a good reputation. But, they are not a Colt. I have a several variations using Aero Precision upper and lower parts. They are good parts and serve my needs but Colt is the one to copy. Well, except for maybe this. https://fnamerica.com/products/rifles/fn-15-military-collector-m16/

Sorry KWG, but I didn’t see colt only, my bad, just offered a suggestion. Still don’t see Colt only.
