In light of the threads asking about McMillian stocked T3s, and not wanting to hijack their threads, I would also like to see some Tikkas in McMillian Stocks, specifically the Sako Classic pattern. As far as that goes, I'd like to see pics of Tikkas in any aftermarket stocks.

Don`t have photos of it.. but if you have large hands like me, the Sako Classic will not fit you. My pinky does not fit the grip.

It does on the Sako Hunter though.

My only experience with McMillian is Remington Classic and mountain rifle Stocks. How does the Sako Classic compareto these?

Don't believe it is, if you go to the McMillan website they usually have these in stock and have then listed as a Hunters Edge for a Tikka. Makes for a nice combo.

Hunters edge is the same as the compact, but in edge fill.

Sako classic is a bit different, but I like it maybe a little better. It is slightly larger than the compact/Hunters edge.

I’ve been lurking around here for a while. This seemed as good a time as any for my first post. T3 in 6.5x55 in a Manners EHT, clear with OD webbing.

Well, that didn’t work. Trying to figure out how to attach a picture, not just a link.

Went to the Manners and McMillan websites. Are you fellows really paying 500+ bucks on these aftermarket stocks? Do they make that much difference?

Here is my T3 in a B&C. Rifle is Cerekoted. 260 Rem. Puts 125 NPTs in .5" on bad days. I've shot more than one 3-shot single hole groups.

Yeah, I think mine was close to $600 when it was all said and done. Took almost a year to get it after placing the order. It was worth it to me but I’m positive that it wouldn’t be for others. Mine came in at 26 oz. the factory T3 stock that came on mine was 28 oz. So it’s hard to justify the expense based on that. The T3 stock felt cheap and hollow. My Manners certainly doesn’t. As far as improvement on accuracy goes, I didn’t really give the factory stock much of a chance. I replaced it after 100 rounds or so. And they were all my loads, so I was doing load development the whole time. That being said, the best group I shot with the factory stock was around .850 and my best group so far with the new stock is .425. That could easily have as much to do with load development as the stock. But when you hold it you can tell it’s top notch.
