Got my new 10/22 today. Spruced it up a bit with some upgrades. Before After That should do the trick.

What trigger did you drop in. I am getting ready to build a 10/22 and my goal is to make it as ugly as possible.

FishinHank: Which barrel is that on your "new" 10/22? Nearly 30 years ago I splurged and bought a Lilja extra heavy stainless barrel with match chamber for my nicely stocked Ruger 10/22 Deluxe Rifle. I am guessing I have way over 100,000 rounds down that barrel and it still shoots VERY well indeed. This slightly customized Ruger 10/22 is one of my all time favorite guns! And how about the stock on your rig - which brand is it? I hope your new Rifle shoots as well as it looks! By the way is that a Leupold scope on it? Enjoy. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

20" fluted sporter barrel from green mtn. Hogue overmolded stock. KIDD trigger group and bolt buffer, along with new recoil spring and bolt handle. Right now it has a vx3 2.5-8x36 sitting in a DNZ mount.

20" fluted sporter barrel from green mtn. I have the same barrel on my 10/22 and have been very pleased. It has the accuracy I wanted for the range use and it’s a nice carry rifle for the woods too. A win win setup.
Help keep our sport going. take a kid outdoors!

Travis It would be if we had fox around here. Probably going to shoot otters with it once trapping season opens in a couple weeks.

I ordered a few goodies for mine today. Remember, I aim to make this thing ugly. I ordered a purple Hogue stock, an 18" ER Shaw .920 stainless bull and a Ruger BX trigger assembly. The donor camo receiver should complete the hideous look. I scooped up a Bushnell Gold (same as Weaver 44/40) 3-10x44AO scope from Natchez. $360 worth of upgrades.
Hank, did your barrel slide right into the receiver or did you have to use the cold/hot trick?

I had a heavy barrel on mine, took it off because it became a jamomatic.
