Had all of the components and sent them to Redneck to screw the barrel on. Bought the Mtn Rifle barrel here for $60. Had the action with the Kampfeld Ti bolt treatment for awhile. The 1st Gen Ti stock came off of a GAP rifle, and the barrel channel swallowed the MR barrel.

Had my first go last night and didn't use enough Marine Tex to squish out, so had to mix some more this morning and fill in the rest. I bedded the lug last night, and decided to skim bed the action today. Everything turned out great. I used the 20 mil pipe tape to free float the barrel. Can't wait to see how it shoots. I believe I'll send it off to Metalife to get it hard chromed after test firing.

That turned out well. Did you mix micro-ballons in that to keep the weight lower?

Looks great - I just did a similar parts build with some leftover stuff and also did a 7MM-08 and had Eddie Fosnaugh put it all together. Sure like the paint on your stock, good job!!

I like the concept and the RoboCop-ish color scheme, though I'd have to employ a front BC cap and a square of black tape to hide all that gold trim.

Thanks! I had them, but didn't use them. I wasn't too concerned with weight on this one. Before I threw it on the scale, I replaced an aluminum T/G and bolt shroud with steel since I'm expecting to send it off for hard chrome.

That looks absolutely outstanding. I had Joe colllier throw me one together in 223. Ditched the 1/12” twist 24” tube for a stainless 1:9” from a model 7. No way in hell you could get me to post pictures of the bedding Job i did on that rifle. It shoots great though.
