I had a Nosler Heritage in 30-06. Nice rifle, accurate, good trigger, smooth action. Would definitely consider buying another.

Checked the link,

I'd bet this one would be a sweetie-pie!

if I'm gonna get a "go-faster", I appreciate a 26" barrel.

ya!

I like the lines of that stock much better than the lines of the synthetic. If the synthetic had those lines I'd probably own my 4th 6.5. I don't normally get too hung up on looks, but at that price point I am going to have to love the way it looks. The way there is a rise from the comb to the heel on the synthetic just looks "broken."

Yes, they do. I put one in my cart and proceeded to checkout just to see. But first you have to create an account and give your service information.

The weakest link willl be the loose nut on the trigger (assuming you mout the scope right)

They are solid.

I bought one of these sale specials... Drove over the pass to Nosler hq in Bend to check it all out. Got the M48 Liberty 300 wsm. About 30 rounds into it so far and I'm pretty easily at .75 moa or so with factory Federal Premium 180 grain TBT. Rings are Talley Lightweight, low. Thinking I'm going to try the Hawkins Precision hybrids though. Scope is Leupold vx5hd 3-15x44 boone and crocket with the zlt turret. I had no intent with this rifle because I was previously "all set with perfect hunting rifle(s)" lol. But I have an odd fixation with 300 wsm and prices that are too cheap to ignore. If the good accuracy remains consistent with my skill set out to 700+ yards then I can see this gun getting almost, if not all big game hunting action, even on my next dall sheep hunt in '19!

Put my 6-9 harris bipod and slogan outdoors rubber rifle strap on and it seems about 9ish lbs. but balances really really well. Next time out I'll be shooting 180 grain accubonds in a search for better accuracy and I'll be getting my chronometer out too.

Also, the stock is sort of meh. Fit and finish is excellent between the stock & components, but the lack of contour at the wrist/pistol grip area could be improved on especially for a rifle like this in the $1800 price range, at 1200 however, it wasn't a big downer for me as I figured I could have Mcmillan send me one that's inletted for the Nosler long range gun that they make. After my initial range day I added some leftover Talon grip tape to it and a bit on the fore end and it completely changed the feel of the stock, for the better - now I won't be changing it for the foreseeable future. As confirmed at Nosler, mine has the Pac Nor barrel.

I'll post pics asap. But for $1,245 with talleys and my background check I'm very happy.
