I've got some going on 10-15 years on the same mono. I do untie them and hang them straight after ever hunt, and I store mine indoors during the off season.

Any thoughts on the clear mono vs dark as far as uv light break down? The only reason I ask is if the shelf life is great enough. Thought about doing it on a large spread. I have a friend the used coated aircraft cable. Hell for stout but it makes the swivel the weak link on a more expensive rig.
