If there are any old trappers from Michigan on this forum they may remember Gary Dunlap. I got word today that Gary died in his sleep last night, he was 72. He was a professional trapper and fur buyer in the Hubbard Lake area in Michigan through the 1970's. I met Gary around 1977. We hunted and trapped together for a number of years. We kind of went our separate ways for awhile. Gary moved to Alaska a number of years ago and we recently started talking by phone. He wanted me to fly up and hunt with him. I have been trying to call him the last few months but couldn't get hold of him.
