Keep 'em coming,
how's that set,is the 120 placed at the bottom of the bucket or on a limb leading to it?

Picked up another marten yesterday.

The flower pot holds the 120 in place. When the trap fires it swings free. A stack of 50 pots is less than $30 on amazon, and about 3' tall. Super easy and fast.

Looks like an easy way for a bucket set without having to mess with cutting the bucket. Wonder if there's a flower pot size appropriate for a body grip for a coon?

Picked up one very soggy marten today. Caught it in a mink set which is unusual, haven't caught many using fish for bait.

I can't claim this idea myself, got it off another forum a while back. Works like a charm though!

what bait are you putting in that pot, and what smells are you using.

A piece of deer hide goes in the back of the pot and I use Gusto as a call lure.

None yet as I've never trapped. Most suppliers list the 160s as the smallest recommended for raccoons.

160's work ok on coons. A lot of states have maximum sizes you can set on land. A quick search on google and it looks like your max size for body grippers on land is 7.5", which allows you to use 220's.

Nothing on the last check. Re-lured the sets with more Gusto.
