A buddy of mine wants to sell me his Ted Williams Model 53 in 30-06. How much should I offer him? It's a post-64 Model 70 in all but name, in good shape with an antique scope on top.

Last one I saw (95%) was marked $350.00, but cash would have bought if for $300.00 OTD.

Thanks. I figured about $300 is all it is worth, but I will offer him $350. His rifle isn't in 95% condition, but I want to be fair. I couldn't find the Sears version of this rifle in any of my gun values books.
