I like that little loader!

You can sure get a load limit PDQ hauling round bales like that, too!

I put 14 round bales on my trailer, and add the weight of the trailer, and I'm pulling over 30k pounds down the road... Not that I care to do it often.

We were hauling on the farm Barry. Up on the "freak show", I keep telling Sam Olson they need a loader, that quick tach is so nice.

Those are year old bales, that's why they are dogeared.

Richard, a front end loader would be handy but we like tractors with a PTO, 3 point, drawbar and hydraulic hookups!

Have both Sam, you might well be amazed how handy the loader with the quick tach is.

They'd be great for unloading semi loads of round bales.

I think they have bucket/grapple setups that can grab 3 full-size round bales at once.

The rearward weight advantage and tight turning would awesome.

And not bustin' front axel spindles on tractors. Do not think however that the industrial loaders do not take money to keep running, Jake put about $22,000 in the transmission in that Cat a few year back.

It is so nice to see those wonderful big, round bales as opposed to those hateful little square things that I fought with in my youth.

I've ran 'em and they are easy to like but I can't pull anything with one!


Maybe someday the budget will allow.

Still have abunch of bales to move here as well. We unload ours with a skid steer, works well.

My first four wheel drive loader was a Tratormotive TL12 I bought well used in 1971. Don't laugh.

That is not the exact machine. It's long gone from here. I through a rod through the block on one side, and the oil pan on the other side, in the spring of 1979.

Yes, mostly red oaks. I have left as many trees as I can in the places I run my cattle and horses, as it gives them shade and windbreaks. Have a lot of cedars as well.

As to the Tractormotive loader, I was hooked up to what looked like a rather large cattle truck one winter morning, the truck and a full load of cattle were too far toward the ditch. I sort of felt like the truck, and load might just pull me like a large catfish pulls a bobber down.

Chains on all wheels, and that old gal would move a bit of what was in front of it. Operator comfort was not a strong suit however.

I realize chit happens and folks move thousands of bales like that every year but every time I see a load like that I think about a guy I knew that got killed when one cut loose on a trailer he was behind and landed in his lap at about 60mph.
