These are all similar sized drop points I received this year. Out of the three one has got to go, just not sure which one yet.

Top to bottom

Gene Ingram #7 drop point with an extra 1/4" added to blade length

Brett Dowell

David Winston #43

If it were my choice, I would look at it this way. You have two flat ground blade and each has jigging. You have a hollow ground not jigged.
I would say one flat with jigging had to go !

But that's just me.

the one in the middle is kinda bland and uninteresting, I'd let it go. The other two have some pizzaz.

I think the bottom one need to go -- to me wink Seriously, all nice knives but do like the bottom one, if it has to go I'd sure be interested.

It's a really poor pic. The middle knife has wicked grain in the green micarta and orange and black liners.

Damn! That is one good looking pair of Dowell knives. What are the specs on your Dowell?

Thanks... I really like Brett's work, that looks like a knife that can get a lot of work done. Same could be said of any of them. Tough choice...

To my eyeball, I'd rank them:

1 Winston
2 Dowell
3 Ingram

Id keep the Winston and the Dowell if i couldnt keep em all!

Dowell
Winston
Ingram

The Dowell for the swedge and the hollow grind.

Winston and Ingram have similar blade profiles but prefer the handle length and design of the Winston.

Still, no bad choices...

They are all great looking knives. Owning two versions of that Ingram there is no way I let that one go.

All great looking and performing knives trout. I'll have to say though that I recently received a Winston #43 with the radius on the spine and I have really grown fond of that knife. I makes for a very comfortable feel and work-ability. So for me, in this case anyway, it would be 1) Winston, 2) Dowell and 3) Ingram in order of preference.

Whatever you decide, it's a tough one.

I'll never use all 3. Seems like a waste to not use them.

I chose to keep the Ingram and Dowell. Winston found a new home already.

I would find any of the three very useful for a Deer knife. The Dowell knife would be my first choice.
