First question is why are 1894 big loop levers so much more expensive than similar loops for 1895's and also seem to be harder to find?
I've got a '94 in .44 mag that is wonderful to hunt deer with in my area. When it isn't wonderful is when it gets really cold, and a gloved finger doesn't safely enter the trigger guard area without putting unwanted pressure on the trigger.
Can you point me to some good, reputable makers of Marlin 1894 Large/Big Loop Levers?
I have found a couple that are about $150 for the lever, which seems hefty considering the part. But if they aren't mass produced I can understand somewhat. Midway and Brownells only stock standard levers, or ones for the 1895/336 models that I can see.
