My weak eyes, and fat clumsy finger make tying a loop in the mono a contest. Anyone have a loop they like?

Indeed, but now I tend to use a double surgeons knotted loop. It's even easier IMNSHO.

Look at this vid for the Canoe Man Loop Knot. Really simple and easy to tie. It doesn't look like it would hold, but it sure does!

I do too but I drop it through 3 times.

Are you looking for a plain loop or a loop through the eye of the hook?

Plain loop, as in making a spinner, to snap a line on.

For an end loop, the Perfection is probably best. For a dropper, the Dropper Loop. Here are many more...LINK

Another vote for the perfection knot, that's what I use. I found a video on YouTube I think one time that I used to learn it. Now it's easier than tying my shoes

Depends on the lure. For tying on small jigs a 3 turn surgeons knot is an easy and good choice. For longer lures with more hooks a Rapala
knot or one of the close variations works well. Lots of good videos on YouTube.

The canoe man knot is a simple bowline and a lot of these other loop knots are bowline with a bight or 2 or 3 bights.
In fine mono a bowline or improved clinch is sometimes hard to tie but a bowline will hold.
I use a Uni knot for attaching lines together or for a loop knot —I use it lots.
Attatching a hook I sometimes use a Paloma’s but mostly a trilene knot
