I've never even looked at the classifieds, and I've been a member here for 11 years? Read too many horror stories about deals gone bad, I suppose? Research the seller. Know where he posts on the forum. The classified cowboys will be like 90% classified for sale posters. These are the hondlers that will hang it in your ass if given half a chance. g

I've purchased plenty of scopes with the idea that sooner or later they'll have a home.
I've directed quite a few friends to stuff they were looking for,mostly guns and optics.
Nabbed a few knives made by Gene and Charlie rather than waiting my turn.
If you're into stuff they no longer make, like say New Haven M-70's, you have to find them where they are. The only way to do that is to look.
I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.

I've bought a few guns, because I got a good deal on a scope and hated to see it sitting on the shelf all by itself....

We all use this site, including the Classified for free, just have to look a some pop ups...  Tolerate a few trolls...  But we get lots of good info, meet some real Loonies, some who got it worse than us...  DF
