A little lumpy.

You aren't supposed to stop your Zamboni until you cover the whole rink! Even if you NEED a beer!

Is it big enough a loss to really notice when hunting?

Looks like Chris stopped before he completed the Vortex logo.

Urban Delta Junction has an old railroad passenger car that someone had intended to make into an eatery at one time.

Winds have toppled it.......it'll take serious equipment to pick that thing up.

I had a 2-place snowmachine trailer pushed about 25-30 feet in this Chinook.

I had an empty knaack box flipped over last year in the wind, which was fairly impressive.

Our hunters got their bears this fall but in day to day life here and on the Copper we noticed a few less than normal. Lots of itty bitty guys in spring and a lot less by fall!

Well, to add to this a bit late, and from farther north....

Last week we had a couple days in mid 30's, rain for a few hours Thursday evening, dropping to 7 overnight. Then back up to 24 when I left Kotz Saturday morning. Forecast calls for mid 30s again this coming week.

Real bad for caribou forging and travel, once it freezes again. I heard several bears had been spotted out feeding on gut piles. Whether it was availability/scent of food and/or flooded dens that brought them out is anyone's guess.

No serious wind forecast - only 25-30 for a day or so this coming week but I'm still glad I tied the snow machine covers down before I left. Dunno what the following week will bring.

I'm also glad I helped prevent further decline of the NWACH by killing those three probably-pregnant cows the last two weekends. At least they won't suffer hunger pangs and bloody legs he rest of the winter... feels good to be such a humanitarian. smile

It has gotten nothing but worse here! Everything is glazed and I have a very bad feeling in my gut...
