While action shopping Ive run across the DLC option. Through all of my searches it seems people really like it and helps make things glide. So I typically have my guns Cerakoted and am not real familiar with DLC Has anybody DLC'd the action and cerokoted the barrel? Any pics would be great
The guys at Defiance Machine recommend Ionbond on their actions which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same as DLC. I'm going to try it once I fit and chamber the Defiance that I have in my safe but I'm waiting on a barrel.
I can get an entire long gun melonite treated for $85 and drop off and pick up locally. DLC is closer to the $350 range and you have to ship the rifle. Doesn't add up to me.
