Howdy and Happy Holidays to all!

I did try and do a search but with the demise of photobucket lots of older posts don't show pictures anymore. Anyway, I'm getting ready to order a model #69 from David Winston and was thinking of going with blue G-10 scales either jigged or maybe just bead blasted and with black liners.

Anybody out there have any pictures of the blue G-10 they could post I sure would appreciate it?? Even searching on the internet you just don't see many blue scales.
Thanks
Frank

I’d have to look for the cards to be sure. But i think it a #2 semi skinny and double skinny maybe?
Both stretched to 3 1/2” blade.

Same pair in yeller and toxic green.

The blue skinner is a #60 something. #66 maybe.

The black / orange is #91. One of his newer models. I’ve used it on a couple deer. I really like it. Tapered tang, handles well.

The blue knife and yeller/ blue knife is a #45. My favorite Winston.

Dave,
Thank you for the additional information, I sure do like that #91. I currently have #43 I just picked up and a #69 with a tapered tang and sure like it but its just a little bigger than I like, the 91 looks to be a bit smaller maybe?? Anyway, much appreciate the pictures & info. Will be emailing Mr. Winston shortly and get in line smile

The #91 is a good bit smaller than a #69. I’ve got one of those. It’s a handful.

Another #91 in a matching set he made me.

It does look about right sized - if that #91 comes in around 7.5 - 7 3/4" OAL that would be perfect!

Thought I would kick this thread back to the top. Got the new model #69 from David yesterday. I ordered this one for my brother-in-law who is new to hunting and also seems to have good taste in knives wink I showed him a couple of my Winstons, he really like the model 69, I was lucky it didn't disappear laugh Anyway, he's Ok as far as BIL's go so I ordered this one for him back in January. With help from BigDave, decided to do the blue scales with black pins. Other specs are S30V metal, tapered tang, file work for your thumb and a Kydex sheath. As always Davids work is fantastic, not apparent from my sorry pictures but it turned our perfect.
