I had great luck with it in tikka short mag rifles. I believe barnes still list it as most accurate powder for a creedmoor and 260 load. I know one reloader using the gmx and superformance in a 260 with great accuracy

The accuracy I've gotten with it leaves me totally unimpressed.

30-06 with 150 grain will exceed 3000 FPS and is accurate in my rifle.

Getting 3400 fps with .5-.6 inch groups with 70-grain GMX in a 1-8 twist .22-250. Tried several other powders listed as getting top velocities and none came very close.

Muledeer... if you ever catch one of those GMX be sure to post it. If I remember right somebody tested a 22 caliber years ago on some cow bones and Flesh and it did amazingly amazingly well... as in pretty impressive frontal diameter and really deep penetration.

I will relate a conversation I had online with a noobie Because Hornady markets Superformance ammo his logic was that Hornady loaded all of its Superformance ammo with the one Hodgdon Superformance canister powder.
Since he did not find any data for his .444 he proceeded without any data. He owned a chronograph but he did not understand why he only got 1400 fps. He wanted better data to match the high velocity of the Hornady ammo. I investigated and found that Hodgdon supplies 14 non-canister powders to Hornady to load Superformance ammo. Some people's logic is amazing.

I as well contacted a Hodgdons tech named Mike and he told me there are over 40 blends of Superformance, but only one for us reloaders.

I get over 3600 with 70 grain bergers in a 22-250 improved. Accuracy is very good. Tested many other powders and none came remotely close.

I heard it was the blend for 30/06. Heard it on the web so must be true.

My chrono says the 3006 data is fibbing...lol.... but it says that about a lot of things! I thought I had a pretty accurate load (not near claimed velocity) but i would get unexplained Flyers.... it's also pretty dirty in the 30 odd 6 leaving a lot of soot around the neck.... and a pretty black Barrel clean up.
