I should have had a big bull this afternoon, his reactions just slightly quicker than mine

11-ish miles bucking snow as deep as 2'- I'm bushed, but going to give it a whirl tomorrow

Season is over for me, and unsuccessful, so deciding to start off the prep for next season by doing the 60 day insanity workout plan, through day 2 and not sure about my decision!

Dug holes, mixed concrete, set posts. This [bleep] will make you feel every one of your years on the planet. Done with this part; now I HAVE to take a couple days away from it so the concrete can set. Huge wave of shop work (and rain) inbound. So I'm goin' fishin.

a tough 8 miles this morning elk hunting- deep snow and a steep ascent- deep enough I could have used snowshoes

got home in time to put new tires on the truck, brought Tiny E with and while they were swapping tires got 5 miles in with him

6.2mi loop on the Beartooth front exploring a new hunting spot. Only about 4-6" of snow in the trees or shaded areas. Didn't see any elk, but did see a beautiful 5pt muley.

12 miles on the bike in the mountains. There probably won't be many more chances until spring.

Recovery day <g>. Not sure I really should dig too many more deep holes in this life. Horked my hip pretty good somehow.

4 miles with Tiny E after watching my Grizzlies lose a close one to our cross state rivals

Tweed Valley mountain ultra marathon today in the Scottish southern uplands. 65.5km with 1574m of ascent. 8 hours 40 mins. First ultra.

Swim testing... set PRs in 50, 100, and 500. That was cool.

I'm still slow, but slowly getting faster.

3.5 miles on the trails with Tiny E

Ocean day yesterday. Relatively flat so not as tired today as some times out. Took out a FNG. He had a blast, though he was a tackle "black hole" as he figured out how to bounce the lure off the bottom. He lost a lot of tackle. We limited on lingcod.

I bought a new Yamaha 9.9 kicker and it was superb. Wow. Course I paid more for it than my whole BOAT so it'd better be good!

Damn those things are ugly. But you don't catch 'em for their looks, eh?

Cardio yesterday, lower body today. Gotta get in shape for the marathon that will be tomorrow.
