Anyone out there shooting or hunting with one? I would love to hear some reviews on them.

Wilkes, I have done a ton of research and read every review that I can find. I am definitely buying one but waiting for some new calibers. I have two of the calibers listed covered well in Model 88 Winchesters and am hoping forn.260 or 6.5 Creed coming soon.

I have the .308 on order. The local sporting goods store only has a .243 in stock. I hunted for years with a BLR in .308 and I think I will be even happier with this Henry in .308 after handling the .243 version. While my local store has no .308s in stock, Anthony Imperato says he will get one to them in short order. (I am paying for this rifle by selling my Marlin .375 Win. I'm actually getting the new Henry for $1 less than what I sold the .375 for.)

I like them, but not what they currently come in... I'd like one in 7mm-08. The one's I've handled were nice though, felt good.

I was able to handle one the othe day and the fit and finish appeared to be very well done. I hope they shoot just as well.

I had one in .308 Win, it was very accurate and functioned great but I didnt like the way the forend cap was installed, its not a good design, just a wood screw in a very narrow sliver of wood, mine was busted from the factory and i bet most are but must owners will never take the cap off so they will never know unless it pulls off, which would be very easy to happen.....Hb

yes the henry long ranger looks nice with excellent wood on these guns, the henry long ranger really looks like a Browning BLR ? I wonder if the clip/magazines inter change ? and if they do did Henry just buy receivers from browning then put a nicer grade of wood on their henry long ranger ? if so I wished Henry rifles would build the magnums too and a creedmore also, plus all long rangers with longer barrels too. >>> Henry Rifles hope you read this and do manufacture some other fine long ranger cartridges???

I had a client from Oregon........imagine that.

Call up Marlin and request they build a 444 with a clip. " to make em safer".

The Marlin representative hung up the phone.

My client was confounded!
