If my Winchester was typical I would steer away from it. The chamber was way oversized. I swapped it for an older Marlin 35 Rem.

If my Winchester was typical I would steer away from it. The chamber was way oversized. I swapped it for an older Marlin 35 Rem. Well, I have two 94s chambered in .45. You are correct. They have oversized chambers. If I only size my brass enough to seat a bullet, it greatly reduces the amount of gas escaping the chamber. But then, you can't fit them in a revolver chamber. It is a bit disappointing, but I still like them enough to keep them anyway. I just let it soot my chamber and keep on shooting.
