I’d already have one (OK, two) if it wasn’t for that pussy-boy muzzle brake. I shouldn’t have to pay for something that is completely unnecessary and worthless on a hunting rifle.

What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

As stated above, I have a 7mm wsm X-Bolt and it feeds and ejects flawlessly.

My brother has a SS x-bolt 30-06 that I've handled and shot. It's light, well balanced, and would put five 150gr Federal Blue Box into one ragged hole at 100. The price tag is a bit shocking, but I've not seen a rifle recently that shot that well right out of the gate. My father had a similar experience with a standard x-bolt in 7mm-08. These rifles have a reputation for being great shooters.

I stand corrected...A guy I have hunted with on occasion has an A-bolt in .325 WSM. The thing is a hammer at both ends

I bought an X-Bolt Stalker in 6.5CM first year Browning put them out. It consistently shoots MOA and less at 100 yards with Hornady 129gr American Whitetail and 143 ELD-X Precision Hunter. I adjusted the trigger down a little, scoped it and went shooting. At least 10 rounds of each ammo fired and all right where I wanted. Called it a day and been a happy hunter with the rifle ever since.
