Can’t beat a Honda in my opinion. I have 13 on our farm and my guys run them hard.

l have had Polaris and Kawasaki ATV's and they were both very reliable. They are used to herd cows, spray weeds, pull around fencing supplies in a small trailer, and drag the driveway with a spike tooth harrow.

2002 Honda 450 Foreman is a Energizer Bunny. I would like another Honda with power steering and a couple bells and whistles, but it don't give me problems or quit.

Honda, CanAm, Kawasaki, Polaris, etc...they all hold up very well and usually dealers are close by and reliable. Quite likely, dealer support is as important as anything. That's where the Chinese knockoffs fail. Try to get parts for a Jetmoto, Zongshen, or Coleman.

I started out with a used Yamaha 660 Grizzly. I used it for 4 years, I got sick of getting wet and freezing my ass off while my 2 buddies snickered behind the windshield of his Rhino 660. The next year I sold the Grizzly to my son-in-law and bought a slightly used 2008 Yamaha Rhino Special Edition 700 FI with 900 miles on it. He sold it to buy a stretched Kawasaki 4 seater to take his Grandkids & dogs along. My Rhino is the bee's knees. I'd never go back to an ATV.

I sold my Kaw atv last year and we got a Polaris RZR. It was used but came with a windshield, doors, and hard top. NICE!

We have 2004,2009,and 2015 Honda Foremans here. The amount of hauling and work these machines has done is amazing. Tires,a battery or 2 (this is Alaska),a starter every few years is all they have needed.[Linked Image]

I’ve got a 91 fourtrax 300 4x4 out in my shop my ol man bought brand new.... the amount of deer elk and bear hauled out on it is dumb. His grandsons did their best to kill it, still fires right up, doesn’t burn a lick of oil, nothing done to it, valves, nothing. Just a couple oil changes....

Yamerhammer.

I've had two Kodiaks. The '05 450cc was my favorite.

Sold it last year to buy a '06 Rhino so the kids could come along.

I like it. I'd like it more if I got out more.

2008 Honda Foreman 500-first year power steering , manual transmission, thing is pretty much bulletproof.

Honda can't be beat for trouble free machines. Rarely see one that gives trouble.

Yamaha's have been great machines for me. I've not had problems with Kawi's either. If price was an issue I'd look at Honda. Seen too many problems with Polaris. I could easily live with Can Am also.

We have had Polaris SxS and ATV. Zero problems. Bought the first ATV in 2001 and just sold it this year to get another SxS

I have an '01 Honda Rubicon 500 4X4 that I have owned since new. Literally the only thing I have done to it is change the oil every few years, clean the air filter, and I had the valve lash checked a few years ago. That's it. It even has the original battery. I have a snow plow and tire chains for it and even last year no problem keeping my driveway clear. I can drive it through water and no belt slippage unlike the Yamahas since it has no belt that has to be replaced periodically.
