Im a fan of near any ground pork product. Pretty hard to fugg up.
That said, I bought some breakfast sausage last week that I just flat couldn’t eat. New experience for me. Don’t think I’d ever tried one before that I didn’t at least like.
Any favorite brands or recipes for breakfast sausage?

I recently discovered Hills Meats breakfast sausage...the absolute best I've ever had. I actually had some this morning. No maple this or apple that...just natural pork and seasonings. I'll never buy any other brand. It was so good I even started a thread but you must have missed it. Anywhoo.....they're in Pendelton so you should be able to find their products in your area. http://www.hillmeat.com/

Sounds good FG! I’ll look for it.
The one I tried last week was Carlton Farms from Oregon. Damn stuff tasted like potpourri.

I like to take fresh bratwurst, skin it, flatten it in the pan and fry it up with my eggs in the morning. Sometimes I'll even pour a little mild molasses over it.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I really like the sausage I make best, but for commercial sausage, the Conecuh brand from Alabama is the best I have ever found.

Farmland, Jimmie Dean, are good in my book. I'm not so keen on the Old Folks brand.

I'm a longtime fan of Jimmie Dean. Also brings back a lot of good memories.

Tennessee Pride Hot by Odoms. Love the stuff. A couple of patties and two eggs, over medium is a great way to start the day! Just finished mine.

If if buy it from the local store, I will buy Jimmy Dean.

I remember Tennessee Pride. Haven’t had it in years.
Was at the grocery today. Didn’t have Hills but they had some Hemplers. Think l’ll try that next if I don’t find Hills.

They all sound very tasty. However, here in New Jersey, we have something called "pork roll". There are cheap imitations, but the real stuff is something called Taylor Ham, developed in 1956 by John Taylor of Hamilton Square, NJ. That's how we roll in the Garden State. https://www.googleadservices.com/pa...rSk0OvYAhVCvVMKHXQqDP8Q0QwIJQ&adurl=

I buy pork butts when they are on sale for $.99 a pound. Take out the one small bone, grind them up, and use Alton Browns recipe. Delicious and the butts have the perfect fat to lean ratio. 30/70
Does this .405 Winchester make my butt look big?
