Tons of snow from Montgomery on to Lowdnes it was touchy getting in. Roads are still icy in places. Spent today on a green field that the sun had melted the snow off half right down the middle. Lots of deer and hog sign. Fresh scrapes after the snow

Well. Nothing much to tell about. We had a great time. Camping was great. Place is super nice. Lots of deer and sign that the rut is about to bust lose. Scraps and rubs every where you look. They have a 3 point or better on one side retriction so i had to pass some bucks. After the snow melted and exposed the green fields they were very active and feeding. I would love to be back in the next few weeks. I seen some cedar trees rubbed in half. And it wasn’t crowded. Picked a few places to hunt and every time we went out we went right where we wanted to go. I highly recommend any of y’all checking out Lowdnes wma. I know I’ll be back.

Also the swamps that wasn’t frozen were covered in ducks. Thousands of ducks. Never seen so many ducks in my life.
