What is the difference in the Barnes 6.5 mm 100 grain TTSX vs the 100 grain TAC XT?

Looks like just the part number. Unless the grooves are placed different for crimping or not. A quick call to Barnes would get an answer

I called them. They said they are the exact same bullet in the 6.5mm.

I have been using the Barnes 100gr TTSX for years & have tried the TAC version. The game has been mature muley bucks. Can see no difference . Always complete penetration even thru bone, Never recovered a bullet. These Barnes 100gr out penetrate the Nosler 125gr Partition of which I have recovered .several. I have used them in my 260 Rem, 6.5-06 & 264 mag. No fear about bullet break up. Fantastic bullets.

I called them. They said they are the exact same bullet in the 6.5mm. They do the same with the TSX and TAC-X; apparently they want to aim their marketing at both hunters and "tactical" shooters.
