We will be moving to the country pretty soon. I was looking at all her stuff she has to be moved. A 16'x 5' Gammel longarm quilter. A Pfaff sewing and embroidery machine. A Bernina sewing machine. Three serger machines and 6 or 7 file cabinets full of fabric.

I started figuring up what we have invested in all this stuff and figured out I'm about $15,000 behind in guns.😁

She makes baby quilts and does quilting for the public. But her biggest passion in working with the Quilts of Valor program.

She is currently cutting out the pieces for a baby quilt for our pharmacist who recently had a little girl. My wife designs all her own patterns. While having coffee this morning she told me she is 5 or 6 baby quilts behind. Sewing is therpy for her the same as reloading, shooting and hunting is for me. She is very talented and I am very proud of her.

My wife quilts. She gets what she wants.
No room for a long arm quilter so we just take the tops and back to a shop and let them finish.

I kinda wish she could. she can barely sew on a button, much less make a quilt. Ha.

Thank goodness, no.

But my wife does everything else. Trust me that you're wife is far behind my wife on fabric. And silk flowers. And.. wait, I think your wife has more sewing machines! Whew.

My wife is an avid quilter, sometimes even misses a session at the shooting range because of it grin. I support her habit and she supports mine.

Quilts of Valor is a great program, I was very surprised and pleased to receive mine , sent them the names of a few other Vietnam vets.

Mine used to. But we have so many quilts that have been handed down thru the family, that we really don't need any more.

Any one's wife sell them?

It seems like they fetch pretty good money.

Seems like a good way to make a buck.

Wish I knew some quilters! All I knew have passed away, and the quilts gifted to me have long ago deteriorated.
