The only bright side is I get to start all over with new woods. So far I've done osage, red cedar, and pinion pine ( a first for me) What woods have you guys played with? Pro's con's?? Osage is strong as steel and excellent for the squeeky calls, red cedar is a great clucker, Pinion pine was a surprise... sappy as all get out but a great tight grained call.
Sorry to hear about the fire, they are very unforgiving. Having never made a turkey call, I can't help you there. I imagine it would be very interesting experimenting with different woods. Good luck with the rebuilding.
