If you are not opposed to dealing with E-bay, the "vintage" bows can do OK on there.

Parts are usually hard to find in good condition, a bow that is complete and in good shape will probably move if you price it right.

IMHO - about $40-50 to start is probably a good idea.

I actually picked up a Martin Warthog Magnum over the weekend at local gun show - just because - beautiful wood riser, rosewood tips, barely used, and vintage accessories - 190 FPSish with aluminum telephone poles...

Coincidentally, I was recently looking for an approximate value for my 2005 Proline Riptide. I found one on eBay for $30. It's my second Proline, the first being a Force XL II that I bought new in around 1987 or 88. I stacked up a fair number of whitetails with those 2 bows.
