How is the accuracy with these rifles? How is the return to zero after take down?

a sample of two. clients of mine had them when they were first introduced. the quote was "these suck". they wanted to know if I could make them more accurate and return to zero better. was a project I declined.

MOA at 50 yards. That's Minute of Armadillo.

I have one and it has never occurred to me to check the return to zero. As long as I can hit something the size of a raccoon at 50 yards from offhand when I put it back together I'm good. So far I'm good.

I bought one when they first came out. I take down and re-assemble the rifle every time that I take it out and the scope sits in QD rings. It has hit everything that I've shot at since I zeroed the scope that is on it. I actually prefer it to my "standard" non-takedown 10/22.

I have one and it shoots 1 inch at 50 yards with Wolf ammo... with federal it is more like 2 inches... Use with a leuplod scope on it... 2x7 power. Now keep in mind there are specifics on how to set the tension screw on the take down part and this can have an impact on accuracy. If you just twist them together and go, it might not be set up right.

I agree! Mine shoots better than my other 10/22 and always returns to zero.

I don’t see the appeal. What benefit do you get with a take down rifle. It escapes me.

Mine shoots very good,I had to send it back to ruger 2 times. The magazine would not drop out without sticking a thin screwdriver between the mag box and mag.I told them the first time it was the bolt because i changed the bolt with another one i had and it worked ok.The second time i sent it to them they fixed it.
