Anyone here every do a run and gun type event? It's 5k/10k/whatever run combined with shooting along the way. I can run well and shoot well, but never mixed the too. Have to carry all your gear with you while you run. A rifle, pistol and about 60 rounds ammo for each. For those that have done it, any advice as to how to carry the gear while running would be appreciated!

Took 2nd place out of 60 runners!!!!! Was super pumped about it. Wasn't expecting to do that well. I trained and practiced hard, but didn't think I'd place that well. Was 44 seconds behind the first place runner and the third place guy was 5:31 behind me. So I was actually close to taking first. Have some pics up on Glocktalk.com in the competition room there.
