Have a Cooper that needed some attention, and Cooper did everything you'd expect:

1) Sent me a shipping label to send it on their dime.

2) Great communication - notified when it arrived, etc.

3) Above and beyond on repair. I thought the throat was set too short. They agreed - doing a full re-barrel without any cost to me.

Lotta feel-goods from the process, and makes me happy to have a Cooper rifle.

Or you can pay the same for a MRC and find out how quality control and customer service can really suck.

I have had very good customer service from Cooper also. I live in Montana and have been to their shop in Stevensville a few times and they always are a pleasure to deal with. A real person answers when you call. For the accuracy and quality, I don't think they are overpriced either. Can't please everybody.

Count me in as a Cooper fan. They make a fine product and stand behind it.

The money you pay for a Cooper translates to an excellent rifle and fantastic service. My wife’s brother had his older 17 hmr varmitter begin to keyhole rounds. Barrel finally gave it up after thousands and thousands of rounds fired. He called Cooper, sent his action and barrel to them... 2.5 weeks later he had it back with a new barrel. $100 bucks. No problems!
