Let them move here.....but first;

We all need to go to chinamart and stock up on cheap, lawn chairs...chips,soda's N beer. We're gonna sit on any biway and watch anti's plaster deer on their Prius hoods. Then, take bets on how long it takes for them to figure out that there, might be a problem?Which, only comes from a perspective change.

We have decent, well thought out game seasons here yet,we(Va) still are ranking when it comes to reported auto/deer collisions'.And we won't even discuss non reported. So,if your view of the U.S. is based on what you digest sitting on a couch, watching whatever biased news....well,that may feed into your preconceptions but,it ain't necessarily, reality?

If I had to point a finger? It would be most likely twds mainstream media and their rather narrow/limited field of view.Kinda like a straight 36x scope, deer hunting when in fact, the deer are sleeping in the ivy patch growing on the side of the house?

Are you aware that, per capita (that’s the key), there are four Western European nations with higher rates of mass shootings than the US? And those nations have far stricter gun control than we do.

I'm not surprised either, but I am curious: which 4 countries?

I'd like to see the source as well. It would shut a lot of people up, if true.

Maybe it's this:

https://www.thejacknews.com/law/gun...ot-have-more-mass-shootings-than-europe/

I looked at the analysis, it's pretty much crap. So many holes to poke in the thesis, it only sets my argument up for failure, which then discredits my whole position.

I need better facts.

Public safety would dissolve as crooks would be emboldened knowing that there are no threats to them. Home invasions would increase, muggings would increase. The single women out there who are "afraid of guns" and "want them gone" would have zero chance of protecting themselves against multiple attackers. The attacker wouldn't even need illegal guns. A pipe, a chain, a baseball bat.

Liberals are soft on crime; so it would pay to be a criminal. EZ pickins grin

Norway had a school retreat mass shooting and car bombing with 85 dead, 69 by guns. Makes it higher than per capita than US. We have had 160 over last ten yers but we have 10X population.

July 22.
The first attack was a car bomb explosion in Oslo within Regjeringskvartalet, the executive government quarter of Norway, at 15:25:22 (CEST).[1] The bomb was made from a mixture of fertiliser and fuel oil[15][16] and placed in the back of a van.[17] The van was placed next to the tower block housing the office of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.[18] The explosion killed eight people and injured at least 209 people, twelve of them seriously.[10][11][12]
The second attack occurred less than two hours later at a summer camp on the island of Utøya in Tyrifjorden, Buskerud. The camp was organized by the AUF, the youth division of the ruling Norwegian Labour Party (AP). Breivik, dressed in a homemade police uniform and showing false identification,[19][20] took a ferry to the island and opened fire at the participants, killing 68 of them outright,[7][8] and injuring at least 110 people, 55 of them seriously;[11][12] the 69th victim died in a hospital two days after the massacre.[9] Among the dead were personal friends of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, and the stepbrother of Norway's crown princess Mette-Marit.[21]

Russia of course with a great higher number of death in their school shooting that the Parkland High Student modeled after. We have about 3X population as Russian Federation.

Beslan School Siege
The Beslan school siege (also referred to as the Beslan school hostage crisis or Beslan massacre)[3][4][5]started on 1 September 2004, lasted three days, involved the illegal imprisonment of over 1,100 people as hostages (including 777 children),[6] and ended with the deaths of at least 334 people. The crisis began when a group of armed Islamic militants, mostly Ingush and Chechen, occupied School Number One (SNO) in the town of Beslan, North Ossetia (an autonomous republic in the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation) on 1 September 2004. The hostage-takers were the Riyadus-Salikhin Battalion, sent by the Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev, who demanded recognition of the independence of Chechnya, and Russian withdrawal from Chechnya. On the third day of the standoff, Russian security forces stormed the building with the use of tanks, incendiary rockets and other heavy weapons.[7] As of December 2006, 334 people (excluding terrorists) were killed,[1] including 186 children.

The mass shooting in Paris also had bigger numbers of deaths per capita than us. We have about 4X population of France.

The November 2015 Paris attacks were a series of coordinated terrorist attacks that occurred on Friday, 13 November 2015 in Paris, France and the city's northern suburb, Saint-Denis.[11] Beginning at 21:16 CET, three suicide bombers struck outside the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, during a football match. This was followed by several mass shootings and a suicide bombing, at cafés and restaurants. Gunmen carried out another mass shooting and took hostages at an Eagles of Death Metal concert in the Bataclan theatre, leading to a stand-off with police. The attackers were shot or blew themselves up when police raided the theatre.[12]
The attackers killed 130 people,[2] including 89 at the Bataclan theatre.[13] Another 413[4] people were injured,[14]almost 100 seriously.[5][6] Seven of the attackers also died, while the authorities continued to search for accomplices.[3] The attacks were the deadliest on France since the Second World War,[15][16] and the deadliest in the European Union since the Madrid train bombings in 2004.[17] France had been on high alert since the January 2015 attacks on Charlie Hebdo offices and a Jewish supermarket in Paris that killed 17 people and wounded 22, including civilians and police officers.[18]

A Congressman on Tucker just said he wants to outlaw bump fire stocks because they allow someone to squeeze off 30 to 40 rounds in just a minute or two, LOL. Without a bump fire stock, even a novice can do that in ten seconds just operating the trigger in the conventional manner.

And then, the sheriff holds news conferences as to this horrific (it was), unexpected tragedy (it wasn’t and it was) and detail the chronology of events. Pure exercise in optics absolution, and giving the next whacked-out kid an idea.

The Gun-Grab mentality is so lame. We’ve had guns during the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s...with no student mass shootings. I ask, what has changed?

About 1970 we done away with mental institutions, the patents are now called the homeless. Released to the streets left to their own resources. If not standing at an intersection begging they are committing thefts, burglaries, assaults and homicides. They were released as it was a violation of their rights. Never mind the rights of their countless victims. Now the socialist want to take firearms away from the populace and leave them no way to defend themselves.

If the youth want to make a difference in the school violence they need to start with their fellow students by identifying and revealing fellow students with problems. Seems that after every shooting both students and adults can come on the news and report they were aware the shooter had problems. Until we harness and treat the mentally ill the violence will continue by firearms or any other means. The youth are protesting gun violence by mass shootings which account for few deaths. They need to be protesting cell phone use while driving, driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The loss of students lives by gunfire is nothing in numbers compared to auto accident while using a cell phone. GW

Actually, most of them aren't homeless. They're living with desperate parents and grandparents who have nowhere to turn for help.
