Getting ready to swap the factory 3.42 ring and pinion sets on my '06 1500 Z71 for a set of 4.10 ratio. Wanting a complete rebuild, all bearings, races and seals since truck is just shy of 200k.

Probably go ahead and replace front CV axles and U joints on both drive shafts while everything is apart.

I am looking for a shop that does top notch work in the Kansas City area and don't mind traveling a little as long as not over 2 hours away.

Anybody know of a good shop?

If you have a TruckPro location check with them . They specialize in heavy duty drive lines , gears ect. I had them do my gear change and built an aluminum driveshaft for my chevy 4x4 .

We do but they are a parts only location for 2 ton and up.

There are a couple other shops around that do differential work but am wanting to get several different quotes and opinions.

There are a couple of shops in Topeka which appear to specialize in the off-road builds. Never had any dealings with them, but might be worth a look.
