my daddy used to put these in scrambled eggs all the time......I tried to like them but couldn't do it....reminds me of him.....

ylep, when we kilt domestic hogs at home, we allus saved the brains. into the frying pan with eggs, and have some hot biscuits, and Luzianne coffee from the percolator setting on the side of the stove.

Ya, good idea, you could probably sell that stuff as a new weight loss program and write a book about it. You eat one can a day for a month. I would probably lose 20 lbs. min.

Alton brown had a show where he ran across to country on mortercyle... Stopped at a place know for a good fiyed cow brain sammie... They were out of cow an subed for pig ...u should of seen the look on his face when he got a bite...

Since mad cow disease came along you can hardly find a place that serves brain sandwiches. Nearly all the taverns in the St. Louis area had brain sandwiches on the menu, I've tried it a few times and liked it.

Mother would use calf brains in scrambled eggs- never did develop a taste for them.
