I have bought a Remington 870 stock.
It is the best looking piece of wood I have ever seen on a factory Remington stock I have ever seen.
BUT the two halves are sistered together with a visible glue line.
Is this common?
The Remington grip cap is in place and there high gloss finish is perfect.
Any info is appreciated.
I can email or text pictures if needed.

Remington made those stocks for the 105ct iirc. It’s a film, not real wood. Looks great but it’s not real.

Looking down the bolt hole you can see that it's two pieces of wood glued together.
