If anyone would be interested in a quality handmade all metal magazine for the remington 541/581 rifles, I just finished several and have them posted in the classifieds page. These replace those cheap plastic factory mags that these guns came with. Thanks, John Reed

I'll vouch for Mr. Reeds magazines. very nice and well made. Especially like the Sako P72 mags he makes too.

John,
Thank you very much!
My magazine arrived recently as well. The fit and function are flawless! You are a skilled individual... Remington would not likely have the problems they are experiencing if they had someone like you involved in their design/production instead of the modern day bean counters! Quality obviously comes at a price but is well worth it in the long run.

Do the 541 magazines also fit the older 512/513 which came with metal magazines?

I just received 2 of the 541 Trekker mags for my newly acquired 541 and they are of top quality. They are extremely stout and nothing like the original plastic.
