Pretty cool guy in addition to his incredible abilities with a fly rod! Distinguished himself in a serious warrior unit and a few little things like that. Frostbite from an Alaskan training exercise is why you NEVER saw him doing anything but warmwater fishing. 
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

I had the pleasure of fly fishing the Susquehanna for smallmouth bass with Bob closer and lefty

I also met Lefty many years ago in Baltimore when he did a seminar for local tackle dealers from a recent trip to Alaska. He was a class act all the way.
