Anybody got some good info with some tested load data for a 6.5 Gibbs...not sure if I'm trying to talk myself into or out of one.

I don't always shoot Mausers, but when I do...I prefer VZ-24s.

Do a search on the 6.5 Sherman, its pretty close to the Gibbs.

I don't have it handy at the moment, but Wolfe Publishing did a small booklet on the Gibbs cartridges some years ago. It may still be available through them. I assume the 6.5 Gibbs in included in the data. I think the material is all reprinted HANDLOADER magazine articles.

I had all the data on the Gibbs cartridges from Rocky himself.. Mimo graphed sheets.. Gave it to a friend 25 years ago.. Sorry I gave it away.. His loads were HOT!!!!!

Who is chambeing rifles for Gibbs cartridges ? I'm thinking of doing one. Would have to get a reamer. I had all the data on the Gibbs cartridges from Rocky himself.. Mimo graphed sheets.. Gave it to a friend 25 years ago.. Sorry I gave it away.. His loads were HOT!!!!! I've got the mimeograph sheets for the 8mm, got them from a local smith in Reedsburg. I've never even got close to the max loads he listed, I've read about how he tested them.
