The Heavy barrel model is often more accurate as they seem to balance/point better than the Sporter I own a 22 LR & 22 Mag and accuracy is very good with both. Cons There are not near the aftermarket items available as for the Ruger Good Luck Jim "2Day is the 1st Day of the rest of UR Life"
